Uccello

30 Jun

The setting reminds me of one of those clubs in LA where people party by the pool. Maybe this restaurant is trying to emulate that type of atmosphere.

The food here was pricey, but then given the size of each main, well worth the money. Although I feel like the person at the helm of the oven that day was not too experienced, because both dishes were underdone, and had to be sent back to the kitchen to finish cooking. Good thing was that they gave us complementary salad and wedges.

'Pollo arrosto, polenta, salvia' half Barossa chicken, polenta, butter, sage

‘Trota al forno con patate’ wood fired rainbow trout, potatoes, olives A whole fish for $34? that's good value! And the olives were the freshes I've ever tasted.

Despite the semi-cooked food, it still tasted super awesome, and worthy of accolades.
